Des Harman has been practising martial arts since 1981, he started doing Chang Chuen Shu a northern hard style, but for the last five years has turned to Tai Chi and has won gold medals at National Championships in Pushing Hands.
Des also runs a successful construction company which includes looking after the finances of the company giving him an excellent understanding of accounting procedures and requirements, and this is where he brings makes him, with his experience in PAYE, tax and accountancy, an ideal choice for the position of BCCMA treasurer.
